At Our Parental Rights, we believe that every parents parental rights matter. Check out our substack. You will find short 1 to 5 minute reads, that will help you and us in the fight to take back our schools for OUR children.
Mission Statement: For our parental rights, we want to expose the school districts that have removed parental rights, while they try to indoctrinate our child, while we provide access to resources, legal counsel and groups.
If you haven't done so, before reading this, take a pause. We encourage you as a parent or legal guardian, to contact the school district, or school your child or children are attending to find out what your parental rights are as a parent/guardian. Most school boards and superintendents across the United States have passed gender policies that block a parental rights.
How and why are they doing this? Most of these school boards and schools are claiming they don't have these private policies, but as we found out firsthand, they do, and they are illegal. It can also be deemed that the push on gender ideology through schools is practicing medicine without a license. We encourage you to get copies of any policies in place that share the same narrative. The narrative is parents and guardians do not have a right to know if their child is being groomed as LGBTQIA+ or transitioned into a transgender child. Because that is what is spelled out in such policies around the United States in public funded schools.
Here is a direct quote taken from Washoe County School Districts, Administrative Regulation 5161 Gender Identity & Gender Non-Conformity Students. Please note, this was passed in 2015 and revised in 2019, not in public but through another administrative policy that gave full authority to the superintendent instead of the parents and taxpayers.
"5. Rights and Protections
ii. Staff shall not disclose information that may reveal a student's transgender or gender non-conforming status to others including, parents/guardians or other staff members, unless there is a specific "need to know," they are legally required to do so, or the student has authorized such disclosures.
iii. Staff must be mindful of the confidentiality and privacy rights of students when contacting parents/guardians so as to not reveal, imply or refer to a student's actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression."
The human brain is not fully developed until mid-to-late 20s. So why would schools, school districts, school boards allow and push a child age 6 to 18 to make a huge decision, such as changing a gender? Can you imagine today living with an ideas or concept you had at the age of 12? If this is the case, then my own 12-year-old believes that everyone can be a gamer and a millionaire.
Within the medical community, the legal minimum age for a male vasectomy is 18 years old. Most jurisdictions and doctors will not conduct such procedure until a male is 35 years or older with or without children. What is the reason? Because people change their mind as they grow and have life experiences over time. For women, the average age for tubal ligation varies from 21 plus, too past childbearing years to become medical sterilized. A majority of doctors will not put their licenses on the line and serialized a woman prior to the age of 40 to 45. Why? Because people go through life experiences, mature and change their minds.
"At such a young age, permanent surgical sterilization is much more likely to lead to future regret than it would for women above the age of 30." Sutter Health
"Because people so often change their minds about having families, sterilization is usually discouraged for people under 30 who have not had children." Amy with Planned Parenthood.
You would think that Planned Parenthood would take a page from their own playbook of words, yet they are one of the many organizations pushing the transgender agenda.
Where do we draw the line between schools and families? There is a separation of Church and State in schools, so why do we not have a separation of schools and sexual indoctrination? Why are we now in a culture where we celebrate what people do in their bedrooms and whom those adults do those things with? If you believe grooming is bad, if you believe your parental rights matter, if you believe that kids should be kids and teachers should do their jobs of teaching, then you have come to the right place.
Parental rights are being removed by back door policies within school districts and sports. They are affirming "mental illness" and dressing it up by "gender ideology" that is plaquing more young girls than boys. We understand that every parent can't simply remove their child from public school. Each family is unique as is their child or children. OPR can help give alternatives with resources for education options, and potential legal counsel for cases that should absolutely be pursued in the court of law. What is happening today will have repercussions that include mass class action lawsuits 5 to 10 years from now.
Legal cases will consist of doctors being sued for giving a healthy teenagers hormone with nonreversible and dangerous side effects that include becoming sterile, double mastectomies, and bottom surgeries that result in 67% failure rate, complications and lifelong infection tying them to the medical community that "Frankenstein" them into something they will never be.
Teachers will be sued who are in fact grooming children and forcing their sexuality and beliefs including convincing them change genders, while practice medicine without a license. Buckle up. Lastly, parents who bought into the narrative will eventually be held accountable by the children they have damaged over the idea of gender ideology, instead of letting children be children. Get ready, we are in it for the long haul.
Children given hormone blockers will suffer irreversible damage to their bodies in adult years to come.
